MATTAKA So tough to pick a track from this high end selection of breaks, bass and grooves. Even undercurrent is invocative of Bjork's more downtempo beats with Mark Bell, which I like very much! The rollling energy in 99Archival Steppe hits me in the right ways! But Fractional has that real breaks groove and sound design that tickles. Favorite track: Silent Science - Fractional.

Patchworks is an album series and event dedicated to inclusivity in electronic music, shining a light on FINT (female/intersex/nonbinary/trans) DJs and producers and expressing the euphoria of music and gender all at once.

Patchworks fits to the artist rather than the other way round, offering a space for artists musicians to express themselves uninhibited in a place that will celebrate whatever they have to offer. We hope it is the start of a beautiful, fun, supportive and very (very) sexy community full of love and non stop bangers <3

This first Various Artists compilation is a collection of assorted electronic tracks from 4 FINT producers, spanning numerous styles and genres. This compilation is a testimony to the often unexplored world of female/gender non-conforming electronic music and how diverse it really is.

Patchworks is a grassroots organisation, the core principles of which are community, mutual aid and liberation. All proceeds from this album will go to the Trans Asylum Seeker Support Network, a community-led, anti-state organisation dedicated to helping transgender refugees in all aspects of life after journeying to the USA. It will work on a pay-what-you-can basis so it’s accessible to all, and we are grateful for every contribution made.
